There are many websites these days allow you to play free online casino games and slot machine in order to make you expert in online bingo. These days anyone could be able to download free online casino games

Football has always been one of those online sports in which I have little interest being a UK resident I have had more interest in the real Online Sports Betting, (thats soccer to you yanks) I say real mainly due to the fact the rest of the world considers that to be football it was called football before your version and Im pretty sure, in American football you have very little use for your feet.

PostHeaderIcon Cricket Hall of Fame Inducts First Female

aIn the fall of 2005, the Cricket Hall of Fame held it’s annual Induction Ceremony, which included the recognition of Barbados native Barbara P. Lindo. Best known for her work in the community of Hartford and other outstanding contributions to the sport of cricket, Lindo became the first woman to be inducted in the Cricket Hall of Fame. In addition, this honor will also mark the first occasion that a husband and wife team will be in the Cricket Hall of Fame. Lindo’s husband, Cyrus, was an earlier inductee.sport

The location for the historical ceremony was the Marriott Hotel, Adriaen’s Landing in downtown Hartford. On October 1, 2005, an impressive list of former international cricket stars were inducted in addition to Lindo. Among them, the former West Indies fast bowler, Andy Roberts and Indian leg-spinner Bhagwat Chandrasekhar. Roberts is known for being a very intelligent cricketer and, during one point in his career, set the then-record for being the quickest cricketer as he took less than two and a half years to reach 100 Test wickets. Chandrasekhar, on the other hand, remains India’s largest match winner overseas with 42 wickets in only five tests. Unpredictable at times, it is said that no other cricketer was more likely to deliver an unplayable ball. In addition, popular West Indian cricket journalist Tony Becca joined the hall. Becca recently retired as Sports Editor for the Gleaner newspaper and is one of the most celebrated writers in the Carribean region.

Two other cricket personalities, Alvin “Al” Watson of Hartford/Florida and Carlyle Miller of New York was also inducted for outstanding contributions to the sport of cricket in the United States.

In every sport, just as with cricket, the Hall of Fame serves as a permanent structure used to celebrate the accomplishments of the sport’s most outstanding players and contributors. Often a popular tourist attraction, Halls of Fame are known for both their historic value, many photo opportunities and a place for fans to gather as their favorite cricket legends are forever inducted into history.

As females continue their increasing participation in sports and in history, Barbara P. Lindo achieved yet another milestone in the world of cricket and history in general. Her induction marks a precedent that will be set for other women who need encouragement and will find that in Lindo’s accomplishments and recognition.

PostHeaderIcon Beware of a Common Pitfall in Golf Putting

Now you are on the green, holding your putter, facing the pin and trying to evaluate the shape of that area between your golf ball and the hole. Forget about the strokes needed to reach the green. That’s past, that’s history. And because it’s not the right time to put pressure on you, forget also

a) that the last few yards on the green can take more strokes than the 3 or 4 hundred yards between the tee and the green

b) there’s no such thing as a recovery for a missed putt

Let’s assume that you are aware of all that and take golf putting seriously. So, the most important thing you desperately need now is to know the slope of your putting area, that is the green’s zone your ball will cross on its way to the hole. You observe carefully from the ball’s side and there’s no doubt it will break slightly say, from north to south (n/s). Now, let’s have a look from the other side to get a clearer picture. And . . . oops! It breaks slightly from south to north (s/n).

Now you have a big problem that all of us (who look from both sides) faced several times. If your group is alone on the golf course and your buddies aren’t pushing too much, you can repeat the entire process but the results won’t change. Perhaps it’s because the shadows are distorting the image or, perhaps, some objects in front of you (trees, fences, etc) are giving you a wrong perception. Still more likely, perhaps you are a biased observer. Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps! But the truth is that the data your eyes sent to your CPU are not coincident, so your brain gets confused with that and any commands coming to your muscles will reflect that dilemma. It’s easy to predict there’s trouble ahead.

PostHeaderIcon Free Sports Picks

Free NBA Picks, Free winning NBA and NFL picks just in time for the holidays; it was an interesting and generous plan! The Free Sports Picks Expert saw himself as a kind of Robin Hood type of national hero who just wanted to have some fun and gain a bit of glory and a great reputation by giving to the poor, average sports bettor across America. He liked the giving part a lot. He just wasn’t stupid enough to use his own pockets as the giving source, as there were others willing to do that part quite magnanimously, albeit unknowingly.

The Cheap SEO Sage arrived at the Mansion on Long Island at 11AM, the meeting was in progress. He ordered coffee and seated himself on one of the fifteen overlarge student type desks arranged in a circle.

“It’s so nice that you could grace us with your presence, Sage.”

“It is so nice to be here.” The Sage answered in an equally sarcastic tone.

“To catch you up, we have made assignments based on a December one launch of our holiday promotion which will put free winning sports picks into the hands of the masses just in time for Christmas. These five gentlemen over here are telling me these will be among the best sports picks we have ever seen.” He pointed to the side of the circle directly across from the Sage. “As you are in charge of reaching a large portion of those masses, and hopefully now understand that this whole thing needs to happen by this very Christmas, rather than some future Christmas, hopefully you can reassure us all here that it will indeed happen.”

PostHeaderIcon Memories of Table Top Air Hockey

Table top air hockey is something I remember from my childhood. My friend had an air hockey table that made me jealous, until Santa finally came through for me one year and I got my own. Until then I would go over to my friend’s house to play. I never wanted to stop. The swoosh of the puck, and the thrill I felt when I scored, made the game fun and exciting. There was just something amazing to me about the way the puck would float across the surface with the slightest tap from the mallet. And that sound it would make against the sides of the table and handles is indelibly impressed in my memory. Clickity, clack, clack, clack, followed by an explosion of victory and defeat at both ends of the table.

Since those early years I’ve seen a variety of styles of table top air hockey. Some hockey tables do not have forced air, but then they are usually referred to as slide tables. An air hockey table has air that is blown out onto the surface with a small motorized fan. This makes the puck float and move much quicker. It is a game of reflexes and anticipation. I remember feeling like the king of the world when I could get one past my Dad. He seemed undefeatable. I always wondered if he was just letting me win, but I didn’t care.

Speaking of memories: my third grade teacher had a type of hockey game that the janitor made for us to use. We played it on the ground outside at recess. It was the kind of game that in which two people could really compete. Can’t you just picture it: two third graders - kid to kid, facing off to determine who would have bragging rights until the next day. To the victor went all the glory. Serious stuff, funny stuff. This hockey game wasn’t atable top air hockey game, but was really fun to play anyway. Sort of a variation on a theme. It was made out of 2×4 lumber with a plywood bottom. It was a rectangle about four feet long and about two feet wide, maybe a bit more. It had a divider across the middle with a cutout in it so the puck (also made out of wood) could fit through it onto your opponent’s side. At each end of the box there was a cutout that allowed the puck to escape, thus resulting in a one point score. Both players had a three foot stick to use to frantically chase the puck around with. You would start the game by placing the puck up on the center divider and hit your sticks together to the count of three, then go at it until someone scored.
